William A. Turner, 83, Kansas City, MO, died November 19, 2002. Mass of
Christian Burial will be 6 p.m. Friday, November 22, at St. Catherine's
Catholic Church, 4101 E. 105th Terr., Kansas City, MO. Visitation will be
4-5:45 p.m. Friday, at the church and continuing after Mass until 8 p.m.
Entombment will be 9 a.m. Saturday, November 23, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Bill was born April 9, 1919 in New Orleans, LA. He was a member of St.
Catherine's Catholic Church. He served in the Army during WWII, stationed
in the South Pacific. He was reservation manager for Braniff Airlines for
37 years both in Kansas City and New Orleans. Bill is survived by his wife
of 55 years, Alice Turner; daughter, Margaret Turner, Kansas City, MO;
son, John and wife, Becky Turner and their children, Sarah, Diana,
Caroline and Teresa, all of Kansas City, MO; son, Rev. Paul Turner,
Cameron, MO; son, Michael and wife, Cindy Turner, Overland Park, KS and
their children, Jeff and wife, Marta, Barcelona, Spain, Julie and husband,
Ben Keech and their daughter, Mallory of Lee's Summit, MO, Bryan, New York
City, Katie, Danny and Jonathan, all of Overland Park, KS; son, Thomas
Turner, Kansas City, MO; and daughter, Mary Turner and husband, Randy
Willis, Kansas City, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations
to Bishop Sullivan Center, 6435 E. Truman Rd., Kansas City, MO 64126 or
