Wedding Mass on All Souls

In Paul Turner's Blog by Paul Turner

Q:  I have a couple inquiring about a wedding Mass next Saturday, November 2, 2019.
If I am reading my ordo correctly, (R1) a Wedding Mass would not be permitted during the day (All Souls). Would one be permitted after our 4PM Vigil Mass (31st Sunday of OT), which I think carries a V1?

A:  Your solution sounds like a good one.
Alternatively, earlier in the day, you may conduct a wedding within an All Souls Day Mass. But that means that you choose the presidential prayers for All Souls Day and readings from the Masses for the Dead. You have the option of wearing purple, but white is OK. You may include the procession of the wedding party, the exchange of consent and the nuptial blessing – all those elements from the Order of Celebrating Matrimony. But the Mass would be the All Souls Day Mass.
Your idea of an evening celebration is better.
