Q: Regarding the answer to this post, that’s very interesting. I didn’t know that ONLY the presider wears a chasuble on Good Friday, and any additional priests wear an alb and stole or choir dress. That was not apparent to me from the Roman Missal.
And my question now is, what about deacons? Would only one deacon wear a dalmatic (or none of the deacons should wear dalmatics)?

A: Additional deacons may all wear dalmatics. That’s even true at Liturgy of the Hours. The dalmatic is not restricted to Mass.
