Could you please settle a bet? My lector coordinator claims that the lector book gives an option for the Alleluia on St Joseph feast day and the annunciation. I have always been taught yes Gloria, no Alleluia. Please give the definitive word. Thank you!

A: GIRM 62 says that the Alleluia is sung outside of Lent, and that during Lent another verse is sung.
