Q. The Graduale Simplex continues the tradition of adding alleluia(s) to the processional chants of the Easter Season.
You can find these in all eight modes on page 439 of the Latin edition or page 378 of By Flowing Waters.
A. Thank you.
Q. There is an introduction to these Masses. In the Catholic Truth Society edition of the Roman Missal it is on page 1296. At the end on n. 2 it has:
“During Easter Time, Alleluia is added to the Entrance Antiphon and Communion Antiphon, unless this would be not in accord with the sense.”
A. That’s true in the US too. I thought I’d looked there before responding. I did not. So, my new answer is “Yes.” Add the alleluia.
