Q: Does this person need an annulment to be confirmed??? This man, a baptized Christian has been married and divorced 4 times and is presently single… no plans to marry again… Can he be confirmed in the catholic church without an annulment?

A: This person may be received into the full communion of the Catholic Church, be confirmed, and receive communion—all without an annulment, as long as he’s single and living an upright life.
He should make a good confession first, and he should know that if he does desire to marry again someday, and if he wants to retain his communion privileges, he will need to go through the annulment process.
Thanks for giving good pastoral care.
