Q: Assumption falls on a Saturday this year. Obligation to attend mass is abrogated.
I got a memo from the diocese that tells us for masses on Sat we are to use Assumption prayers and readings – even “vigil masses” (anticipated masses) for Sunday. On Sunday, we are to use the prayers/readings for 20 Sun in Ord Time. Seems to me that the vigil masses should use readings and such for 20 Sun?
