Q: I noticed in an upcoming Parish Bulletin that the Christmas Eve and day Masses this year are in memory of deceased parishioners. I did not know that this was possible. Please advise.

A: Christmas is a holyday of obligation, so one of the intentions at Mass that day (or Eve) has to be for the people of the parish (canon 534). A priest may apply other intentions to other Masses.
