Q: In the revised Catholic wedding ceremony, can the father of the bride give her away at the procession? Or is that forbidden? It says that the procession takes place “in the customary manner” (OCM 46) – but does that mean the customary manner that mass begins on Sunday? Or the customary manner that weddings begin in the movies?
