Funeral of a deacon

In Paul Turner's Blog by Paul Turner

Q: At the funeral of a deacon, should the body be set in the coffin with the head closer to the altar or to the people?

==

A: The Latin typical edition of the funeral rites says that the bodies of “sacred ministers” are arranged facing the people as they would during a liturgy. I would include deacons in that.

I’m not sure why, but the whole sentence got left out of the English translation.
