When the bishop presides at Mass at our institution, it has become common practice to repeat the gospel acclamation after the gospel while the gospel proclaimer presents the book of gospels to the bishop.
I’ve noticed the same practice of repeating the acclamation at other churches even when a bishop is not present. Do the rubrics make mention of a repeated gospel acclamation?
