Q: On December 8th of this year will be a Saturday and the Holy Day of Obligation as the Immaculate Conception but at the 4pm Mass on Saturday it will also be the Second-Sunday in Advent. Will only the Saturday evening Mass count for the Holy Day of Obligation and the Sunday be for the Second Sunday of Advent?
I am sure I read about this in one of your blogs but I need to be correct, of course.

The Saturday evening mass should be for the Second Sunday of Advent because that’s what the usual faithful attending that service will expect.
