Q: Praised be Jesus Christ!
I enjoy your liturgy blog and consult it often.
I read your explanation for using all three readings on Feasts of the Lord celebrated in the USA: https://paulturner.org/readings-on-a-weekday-feast/
However, there’s a rubric in the Sunday Lectionary above the readings for the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord that states the following:
“In dioceses where the Epiphany is transferred to a Sunday that falls on January 7 or 8, the Baptism of the Lord is transferred to the Monday immediately following. Only one reading before the Gospel is used.”
So, if the Baptism of the Lord is on Sunday, use both readings before the Gospel; if it falls on Monday, use only one.
This rubric is not found in the readings for the other Feasts of the Lord, but would it not apply as well?
I hope this confusion gets resolved when the new lectionaries are published.
Thank you for your attention. God bless you.

Update: Lectionary Rubric for Readings on the Baptism of the Lord
Dear Fr. Turner,
Please disregard my previous question.
I sent an email to the USCCB Committee on Divine Worship for clarification about the readings on the Feasts of the Lord.
I was informed that the rubric is also found for the assigned readings on the Feast of the Holy Family.
The rubric will be added to all assigned readings for the Feasts of the Lord when the new Lectionary is published.
In the meantime, all three readings are to be used for the all Feasts of the Lord, with the exception of the Feast of the Holy Family and the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord when they are not celebrated on Sunday.
