Q: Thank you for your blog. It is so helpful to me (and I am sure to many others too).
An old parish hall that had been used for Mass prior to the building of our parish church decades ago is now being demolished. We are building a more modern parish hall.
In going through the old hall, we found some old liturgical items that need to be removed. Some pewter and ceramic chalices, pewter ciboria, and even an old baptismal font were found in various cabinets and closets. What can we do with these items? We have no intention of using any of them in the parish going forward.
Thanks again for your help.

A: Thanks for your comments on my blog.
I suggest you check online for companies that facilitate the reclamation of liturgical objects. Someone may be looking for things that want a good home.
Short of that, it’s all right to dispose of them with reverence. They have served well.
