A: There are no specific liturgical guidelines over Marian hymns in May. The rubrics permit them at almost any time—entrance, preparation of the gifts, communion and closing. But the music for the entrance and communion is ideally suited to the liturgical day, whereas the other hymns enjoy even more flexibility.
