Q: Christmas Season greetings! Just a brief question about the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord. I know that as it falls on a Sunday next year (2020), we will celebrate the Mass of the Presentation on the Sunday. What about the Saturday evening Masses in parishes? Would we have the Mass of the Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time at the anticipated Masses?

The anticipated masses on Saturday evening, February 1, 2020, are also those of the Presentation of the Lord. There is no observance of the Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time this coming year.
Masses begin with one of the special forms pertaining to the blessing of candles.
