A: The Ordo published by CLV in Rome agrees that on Saturday night November 2 we use first vespers for Sunday.
I think it may have to do with Sunday being a day of precept. A Saturday evening mass on November 2, for example, becomes the Sunday liturgy because of the obligation of the faithful to participate in a Sunday mass.
