A: Yes. Adult baptism may take place apart from the Easter Vigil for a good cause. The bishop should be consulted, but this is a good example of a condition for which the RCIA timetable is flexible. Military service is another. Prison is another. Personal matters pertaining to employment or family needs could also provide an appropriate scenario.
