More conditional baptism

In Paul Turner's Blog by Paul Turner

Q: An adult woman says that she was baptized by her Catholic father. The
father has died and there is no record of the baptism. Is this a case
for conditional baptism? Or, do you take the word of the woman? How
would this be recorded?

A: If the woman’s word is credible, then I would accept it. Perhaps she can enlist the testimony of other family members to back her up. The parish in whose boundaries the baptism took place should be notified.
