Q: Quick question for you about the use of Latin during the Communion Rite: is it permitted for the minister to say “Corpus Christi” instead of the vernacular translation “The Body of Christ”? I think so, but please advise. Appreciate it.

A: I think it’d be fine. The USCCB gives some general guidelines for multilingual liturgies, https://www.usccb.org/prayer-and-worship/the-mass/frequently-asked-questions/guidelines-for-a-multilingual-celebration-of-mass, which of course imagine something besides Latin, but the basic principles would apply. We may accommodate various languages in the liturgy.
GIRM 41 encourages the faithful to know parts of the Ordinary in Latin, which presumes that they may be used in conjunction with a vernacular celebration.
