A:  I think that the entire Lord’s Prayer should be re-translated to reflect a better rendering of the Greek text in Matthew’s Gospel and to eliminate the obsolete verb and pronoun (“art” and “thy”). But it would be best if the English Language Liturgical Consultation undertook the task, so that the result could be shared ecumenically by a broad contingent of English-speaking Christians.
