During the Lenten season the Paschal Candle has been at the baptismal font. When should it be removed during Holy Week as we prepare for the Paschal Triduum?

A: It remains in place until the Easter Vigil. Then the old candle is put away, and the stand is moved next to the ambo or in the middle of the sanctuary.
