Reverence the altar

A: GIRM 49 states that “when they reach the sanctuary, the priest, the deacon, and the ministers reverence the altar with a profound bow.” Are the  ministers supposed to bow to the altar at the same time with the main celebrant (if they are two or four)  or they make a deep bow, maybe two by two, and go up to their places, followed by the main celebrant and the deacon?

Q: The missal implies that each minister makes the appropriate reverence and then moves on.

I know that many parishes have all the ministers line up to make a reverence together, but the GIRM says that the ones with cross and candles bow the head, the one with the Book of the Gospels makes no reverence, and the others make a profound bow. That implies reverences made separately, not together.
