Q: Please advise me…I have an older couple remarrying. All canonical matters are being double checked. The couple would like their Sacrament of Marriage conferred at a regular parish Sunday mass, potentially during Advent.
Please confirm this is possible, and what conditions may apply. I presume it’s the Sunday readings that will be used, and that I confer the sacrament (or they confer it one each other) following the homily, and before the Eucharistic Prayer
Thanks Paul, as always, for your expertise and generosity

You are correct. You may celebrate marriage during a regular Sunday Mass in Advent using the regularly assigned Advent readings and presidential prayers. The couple exchanges consent, and you give the nuptial blessing at the usual time.
