Communion for the dying

Q: Can a dying man who is sometimes alert receive the Blood of Christ as a Viaticum ? He cannot swallow anything now.

A:  Absolutely yes. Either celebrate mass in his presence, or bring him consecrated wine right after mass in a sealed vessel.
