Q: During mass, when gift bearers, bring the bread, wine and the offering, I see many different forms of bowing to the recipient. It’s usually driven by the priest, Deacon or Bishop.
I see them bowing to each other when the gifts are presented and not at the end, I see them bowing to each other when the gifts are presented, and at the end, I see them bowing to each other only at the end and I see no bows at all.
Just wondering if there is a rubric for this that might explain the proper liturgical gesture?
