Q: This morning when I got ready for Mass, the priest told me that incense is not allowed in Lent. I went home and looked in the Roman Missal to see if incense is not allowed to be used during the Lent Season, but no luck. So I come to you. For Lent, are we allowed to use incense in the Mass?
I know I used incense for a St Joseph Mass, and that is OK.
