Incense for Adoration

In Paul Turner's Blog by Paul Turner

Q: Father, question has been raised about using incense for Adoration during the Mass.  We celebrate the exposition of the Holy Eucharist at the end of Mass.  The question is after the priest or deacon incense’s the monstrance, when the monstrance is elevated and the cross is made, does the monstrance get incense again?  Some of the clergy (me included) say no – the deacon or altar server would NOT re-incense the monstrance.  Others will re-incense the monstrance again. What is the liturgical way of utilizing incense? I was not able to find those instructions in the “Order for the solemn exposition of the Holy Eucharist” book.

Thank you again for your help and clarifying for us all.
