Q: Do you know when the new Lectionary For Mass will appear? Be mandatory? Will only the Abbey Psalter be allowed for the responsorial psalms?

A: I have not heard yet about the new lectionary. I believe the Catholic American Bible will be released on Ash Wednesday. Then the lectionaries logically would follow. But I’ve seen no timeline.
It will use the Abbey Psalms and Canticles, but GIRM 61 remains the same, offering considerable flexibility on the psalm.
