Q: Question, is the English translation approved for the US of the new Mass for the Care of Creation available anywhere yet? I haven’t been able to find the text other than in Latin. I did find this from the Catholic Bishops in Ireland.

A: Here’s a previous blog post: https://paulturner.org/mass-for-season-of-creation/. The US bishops have not yet approved the English translation, and it will take years to go through the process with ICEL.

So, no, we do not have authorization to use those prayers.

But we may use another Mass for Various Needs and Occasions from the Missal and choose appropriate scripture readings.
