Ordination

In Paul Turner's Blog by Paul Turner

Q:  At an ordination, when the bishop says, “May God, who has begun the good work in you,” does he say it to each of the candidates or to all of them at once? I couldn’t find the answer in your book Present for God’s Call.

A:  I didn’t put that in there, but in Latin, the word for “you” is in the singular. The bishop says it to each of the candidates.
