Q: Thank you Father Paul. I love your blog and all of your advice. I hope God continues to bless you for many more years with this ministry. We have a prayer we want to pray for each priest on Priesthood Sunday at the Mass he is celebrating. We would like it to be a surprise and some would like it to be at the end of the Prayers of the Faithful. I am not sure we should do that for a few reasons. We will be thanking God for the priest as well as petitioning God for the priest and I think the PoftheF are not supposed to include thanksgiving. If we wait until the end of Mass before the dismissal, the priest will just go ahead and send us out… any suggestions? And, Happy Priesthood Sunday to you Father Paul.
