Q: the pastor at my parish buys wine at one of our parishioner’s liquor stores here. I told him that we are not allowed to use business wine for liturgy. But he said, it is not a big deal. So, if we use business wine (not sacramental wine) to celebrate mass, is our mass still valid ? Thanks

A: As long as it is grape wine, you’re OK. Not apple wine. No elderberry additives. Just grape wine.
