My parish plans on having solemn evening prayer concluding with benediction. Typically during solemn vespers, we incense the altar. Do we still incense the altar with the Blessed Sacrament exposed? Thanks!

A: I know of no rules on this. You could probably argue either way, but I’d lean toward reserving incense for Blessed Sacrament.
